Clever Canadian Kyle MacDonald turned a simple red paper clip into a house with a series of fourteen trades. Christian Jentz turned an old EK Holden into a stunning 1956 Porsche 356 with a series of not so simple trades over fourteen years. For Christian, it has been a mixture of luck, persistence and long hours in the shed, learning by doing and steadily shaping the car into something that feels like his own.
A sign writer by trade, Christian is self-taught when it comes to restoration and mechanics. He grew up around V8 Commodores and admits he followed the predictable path for a while, before realising that older machines suited him better. He likes old things, likes making them better, and likes the satisfaction that comes from solving problems with his own hands.
